EWPTE 2025 Recap: What’s Shaping the Future of Wire Processing

We were at the Electrical Wire Processing Technology Expo (EWPTE) earlier this month, and once again, the show delivered great conversations and industry insight. Here are our top three takeaways:

  • Regionalization is gaining ground. The shift toward regional supply chains was front and center this year. With global uncertainty and growing tariff concerns, manufacturers are increasingly looking for reliable North American partners—making Radix’s U.S.-based manufacturing more valuable than ever.
  • Tariffs are shaping strategy. Tariffs came up in nearly every conversation, reinforcing the urgency for companies to rethink sourcing strategies. For many, that means managing risk by reallocating supply toward trusted domestic options.
  • Strong presence, strong relationships. Many of our largest customers had a presence at the show, and it was great to reconnect in person. We had productive discussions around new projects, current business, and future opportunities—highlighting the value of face-to-face conversations in a rapidly evolving market.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by the Radix booth. We’re proud to be part of the EWPTE community and look forward to what’s ahead.
